Abstract: In this talk, I will review the path properties of coalescing and branching–coalescing random walks in both discrete- and continuous-time settings. I will also discuss related questions arising from their dual voter models and from the universality class of the Brownian web and net. Based on joint work with Rongfeng Sun and Jan M. Swart.
